Matara Bed & Breakfast is a cosy, homely family hotel at Jamsankoski, in the beautiful Jyvaskyla region of Finland. We offer a relaxed, friendly and warm welcome to all of our guests.  In our large living room you can watch TV, play games, and meet other guests or just relax.

The garden is large and open and runs down to Lake Kankarisvesi where we have a large terrace to enjoy the views or take the opportunity to swim or sunbath.

 Matara is also suitable for groups between 10-20 people, for training, meeting or other activities, but of course we welcome individual visitors for short or long stays.

 We have free Wireless Internet connetion(WLAN) available.
